Stentec is releasing the popular 1800-series 2014 apps for Android tablets and smartphones, also provided with weekly BaZ updates. These digital charts of the Dutch coast waters are advantageous replacements of the paper charts. After installing the 1800 series apps, you may also use them on your Windows laptop with WinGPS 5. 

The 1800 series apps have been developed  to replace paper charts. A bigger tablet is most suitable for this cause. An internal GPS will follow you and will always provide you with your current course,speed and position. Creating a waypoint is also easy and will give you a ‘course to steer’. The app is also suited for Android smartphones (to determine your position). 

The 1800 series apps contain the newest DKW Hybrid charts (combination of quick raster charts and vector icons). Charts and waypoint manager allow you to turn on/off the functions.
