New in 2018

Nearly all charts of the 2018 editions of the DKW German Bight and DKW German Baltic Coast have been renewed. Content wise, the differences are mostly in the depth images, the buoys, windmill parks and harbours. A few older charts have been removed and new ones were added.

The charts have also been updated with the changes from the 'Nachrichten für Seefahrenden' (the German versions of the 'Notices to Mariners'). Naturally, the notices are added to the DKW German Bight weekly during the course of the year.

Updating

If you have a 2018 license of one of these charts you can update the charts immediately from within WinGPS 5 through the news center. At startup of WinGPS 5 (with a working internet connection) the news center will show the updates automatically. If the news center doesn't start, click 'Help - Open news center'. In WinGPS Marine the update will be shown during start up if you have a working internet connection.
