Discover how to easily combine AIS, GPS and autopilot in WinGPS. Many water sports enthusiasts use on-board instruments such as GPS, autopilot and depth gauges separately. But did you know that you can combine these instruments in one overview on your screen in WinGPS?

Many water sports enthusiasts use on-board instruments such as GPS, autopilot and depth gauges separately. But did you know that you can combine these instruments in one overview on your screen in WinGPS?

With a multiplexer (such as the MiniPlex-3 series) you can easily turn your on-board installation into one smart network.

What does a multiplexer actually do?

A multiplexer collects data from various instruments on board (e.g. GPS, AIS, wind gauge, depth gauge, autopilot) and sends it to your navigation software, such as WinGPS.

This way you can see all the information clearly on one screen. WinGPS can also send data back, for example to the autopilot. This way you can easily plan a route in WinGPS, which is then immediately executed by your autopilot.

What's in it for you?
  • All data from your instruments on board, visible in WinGPS.

  • No more tangle of loose cables and connections

  • WinGPS can control your autopilot directly

  • Safer and more comfortable navigation

  • Works via USB, WiFi or NMEA2000
Often more affordable than you think!

For less than €350,- you can have a multiplexer on board. We are happy to advise you on which model best suits your boat and instruments.

The MiniPlex from ShipModul is a Dutch quality product: designed and produced in our own country, and in use worldwide. This means they can be delivered quickly.

Everything on one screen and on your backup system

A multiplexer like the MiniPlex 3 bundles all the information from your on-board instruments into one clear system. The data from your GPS, AIS transponder, wind gauge, depth gauge, log and autopilot come together and are forwarded to WinGPS on your laptop. This way you always have up-to-date insight into the situation on board.

Are you connecting a router with a SIM card to your multiplexer? Then you not only transmit the navigation data wirelessly via Wi-Fi, but also the internet from your SIM card. Your laptop, tablet and smartphone can then connect to this network.

Ideal for you and your crew: everyone has access to the navigation data, whether you are on the bridge or in the cabin. And with a second screen on board you always have an overview, even if one device fails.
