IIf you've already ordered an upgrade or Premium Subscription, WinGPS is now available for download in your account.
With the 2026 edition you will receive:
 
  • Updates & improvements for the most stable version ever.
    This is crucial to ensure everything continues to function properly. For example, after Windows updates or changes to data sources such as GRIB, IENC, Blue Wave, and shipping reports. In older versions, certain features may no longer work.
     
  • Updates to the waterway network, bridges, and locks.
    There are regular changes to waterways and the so-called "engineering structures." When you plan a route, WinGPS uses this data to calculate the best route for you. If this information is not updated, you may receive incorrect routes and, for example, encounter a closed bridge.
     
  • The latest features.
    Several new features are being developed in WinGPS 6, including bridge collision alarms and the first TrackPilot expansion sets for recreational boating. WinGPS is also prepared for the alarm zones included with the DKW 1600+ charts, so that restricted areas, such as wind farms in the North Sea, are clearly visible. In addition, VHF zones will be added, allowing you to see directly on the chart which VHF zone you are sailing in and optionally receive a notification when entering or leaving a zone.

  • New NL tidal for 2026.
    The well-known astronomical current and tide data, specifically for WinGPS 6 Pro & Voyager, allowing you to look ahead throughout 2026.
How do I update my WinGPS?

If you choose the WinGPS upgrade, you will receive the 2026 edition of your WinGPS 6, including the benefits mentioned above. This way, your navigation program will be up-to-date throughout 2026 (don't forget to update your digital charts as well).

If you choose the Premium Subscription, you will also receive the 2026 edition of your WinGPS 6 as soon as it is available, including the benefits mentioned.

Update your digital water charts

In addition to WinGPS, it's also recommended to keep your digital charts up to date, so that depths, buoyage, and harbor information are also kept up to date. If you have the 2025 edition of a chart, you'll receive a special upgrade price.
