WinGPS 4 Navigator

Install WinGPS 4 Navigator and the charts for your area on your laptop and connect a GPS to realize a complete solution for GPS navigation on board. You will see exactly your position and the chart will move under your GPS cursor when you are sailing.

WinGPS 4 suppors international charts of the DKW1800-series, ANWB, Navkom and Maptech's BSB CD's. Use DKW Builder (lite) to create your own chart sets.

It is easy to plot a route on your screen clicking waypoints with your mouse. See the new screenshots on the left and notice the special navigation window.

WinGPS 4 supports all GPS receivers with NMEA-183 protocol, like for example an affordable GPS mouse.

When use WinGPS 4 ?

WinGPS 4 is the ideal solution for the navigator that wants to see his position and track, but also wants to plan routes on his digital charts. Charts are being fit together seamless as one big chart, which is ideal when planning a route.

First week of May 2004, the first version WinGPS 4.0 has been released. Free updates will follow now and then for license holders, with extension of the program's possibilities. Click here to read the specifications of WinGPS 4.

When your only interested in determining your position and track, and don't need the functionalities mentioned above, WinGPS 4L is more interesting. For support of multiple NMEA-instruments, like autopilot and log, Stentec Software is developing WinGPS 4 Pro.
