Our first chart release of 2017 is the well known DKW 1800 series, based on the paper charts from the Dutch hydrographic services. You can purchase the new edition in our online shop.

The DKW 1800 series 2017 are completely up-to-date and will be complimented with the weekly BaZ updates. Updating the charts is easy in WinGPS 5 and the Marine series. At startup, when an internet connection is available, a check for updates will be done after which these can be downloaded immediately.

Upgrade DKW 1800 series
If you have the DKW 1800 series 2016 you charts will no longer be updated and the last BaZ update will be of week 52 (2016). If you want to upgrade your DKW 1800 series 2016 to the 2017 edition, you can purchase the upgrade version (only available for DKW 1800 North, -South or -Complete).

If your version is from 2015 or older you can purchase the new DKW 1800 series 2017, ensuring you of all updates throughout the upcoming year.

Why upgrade to 2017
The past year a lot of changes were made to most charts in the DKW 1800 series. If you want to remain sailing carefree, it is wise to use the most up-to-date charts. A few changes are as follows:

• The completion of the Deurganckdok in Antwerp with the new sea lock (Illustration 1).
• The change in the Horsborngat, between Borkum and Rottumeroog (Illustration 2).
• The construction of the Mirnser Klif ness in the IJsselmeer (Illustration 3).
• Changes in the waterway at the Waardgronden (Illustration 4).

€ 20,- Service Card discount
Service Card 2017 holders will receive an additional € 20,- discount on the DKW 1800 series 2017. The discount will be deducted automatically.
