Stentec Software Projects
For the development of Sail Simulator, Motorboat Simulator, WinGPS 4-series and DKW2 charts Stentec Software invested in the development of DirectX Simulation Technology and GPS navigation Technology. Almost all new Stentec programs are based on these 2 technologies. They are all set-up object orientated using modern software languages like Delphi, C++ and PHP.
Besides from own development a 10 to 20% of our income is realized by performing projects for other companies. Most of these project are closely related to Stentec's own developments and often stimulate new developments. Have a look at the following projects which we did finish or still are running:
- Real Time Wind Farm Animations in cooperation with Ecofys. In a real time animation you can fly freely through the Wind Farm get a good impression. Also flight path can be defined. Download our first offshore Wind Farm simulation made for Neg Micon in 2001. Have a look at the screenshot of the Flevoland Wind Farm Simulation. With a push of a button it is possible to switch between the current situation and two future plans.
- Development of CalcuRound for Nedal, a special program to design aluminum lighting towers conform the European CE requirements.
- Digital Inland Waterways, an Chart production in DKW2 format for the ANWB resulting in a series of 3 CD's: Noord-Nederland, West-Nederland and Grote Rivieren (for PC and PocketPC).
- Jet Boat Simulator for Hamilton Jet. Have a look at the simulator console on the Genua Boat show.
- Project finished: Flux Sport Lighting software for Aerolux, Upload program for ship positions and tracks for Feederlines.
