Problems with graphics using GFORCE 6200 LE/ WINDOWS XP PRO

Postby GPSBolivia » Fri 03 Nov 2006 - 17:39

Hello,

Can someone help me with this problem.

When I run the sailsimulator the grafics appear with big white spots like dense FOG all around the boat including it, I tried several configurations but it only work properly in DISPLAY, RGB EMULATION but in this modes is extremely slow. in both DIRECT3D HAL and DIRECT3D T&J HAL the problem is the same.

Thanks for your help

I am having the same problems with a GeForce 7500 LE on XP Media Center... Are there any updates? Did you try to contact the help desk at stentec?

I use an ati radeon card so can't help but would be interested to hear from Stentec which cards should be OK for the sail and m/b sim.

I've written to them as well.. but haven't heard back yet. Also, now it seems like the computer even crashes and restarts if I keep playing and ignore the white areas.

I got the white triangles, but SS has never crashed. Some other more intensive graphics programs crash - and even a large Photoshop file might cause a crash.

What I've learned: Avoid Nvidia cards. I had a Radeon and sorry I traded it.
