Technical support

If you encounter problems with WinGPS Pro or the DKW-charts, please try the following:

• download and install latest update (see below)
• consult the manual or help menu in the program
• consult the FAQ (frequently asked questions)
• post your problem in the Online Forum. Probably other users or our developers can help you

If your problem isn't solved now, please send an email to helpdesk@stentec.com. Please mention the following:

• the program (WinGPS Pro, DKW or both)
• licency number(s)
• computer system (i.e. Pentium III, 32 Mb RAM)
• operating system (i.e. Windows 95/98/NT/2000/Me/XP)
• a clear description of the problem, when it happens, which errors you get and, if relevant, screendumps.

Updates

If you need to update to the latest version, we advice you to back-up your database file (standard at C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINGPS PRO\gps.mdb ).

If you want to install the latest full version, first remove old versions of WinGPS Pro or Demos via Windows Start/Settings/Control Panel/Software. It might need to install your charts afterwards if you select the automatic remove procedure.
