WinGPS 4-series: easy to learn and use GPS-navigation software !

Stentec Software proudly presents the WinGPS 4-series, a new series of reliable and user-friendly navigation software for starting navigators up to professional users.

The WinGPS 4-series consists of the following full version programs:

  • WinGPS 4 Navigator - PC-version for GPS-navigation on board with routes and waypoints
  • WinGPS 4 Mobile Navigator - PocketPC PDA-version for GPS navigation
  • WinGPS 4 Pro - professional version with multiple NMEA-instruments support incl. AP and AIS
  • DKW Builder - Program for easy creating large DKW2 chart sets using a scanner or from autostitched Google Earth screenshots.

WinGPS 4 Freeware: (see also our GPS-freeware page)

  • WinGPS 4 Lite (4L) - PC-freeware for determining position, speed, course and track
  • DKW Manager - PC-freeware: install/uninstall DKW2, BSB and DKW1 chart sets, sync to PocketPC and update DKW1800-series chart sets.
  • WinGPS 4 Mobile Lite - PocketPC freeware for simple GPS-navigation
  • DKW Builder Lite - Create small chart sets using an A4 scanner or Google Earth

  • WinGPS 4A and WinGPS 4MA - Special ANWB-versions of WinGPS 4L and 4 Mobile Lite, to be found on the ANWB/VVV CD's of Noord Nederland, West Nederland and Grote Rivieren. Designed for navigation on ANWB chart sets only.

    WinGPS 4 series properties:

    • User friendly. All installed charts are being shown seamless together as one big chart. You do not have to remember chart names or numbers. Simply zoom and pan to select the most optimal view
    • Easy to learn and use
    • Highest possible accuracy for Mercator projection (DKW/BSB) and the Dutch Rijks Driehoek projection (digital ANWB charts)
    • Maximum overage of the Dutch waterways. WinGPS 4 is the only program which supports the ANWB/VVV charts for the inland waterways, and offers optimal support for Stentec's DKW1800 charts with BaZ Update Service for the Dutch coastal waters
    • Optimal support for Maptech's BSB CD's, Navkom DKW charts, and self scanned charts
    • Supports Stentec's new DKW2 format. A fast and compact hybrid format giving you the best out of your familiar looking and affordable raster charts. Also prepared for additional vector information of buoys, depths and zones, making intelligent applications possible for future versions
    • Due to its new DKW2 technology WinGPS 4 runs even well on an old Pentium 2 with only 64 Mb RAM.
    • Reliable and robust. Power loss or GPS disconnection will give a minimum loss of data, because all data will be saved permanently
    • Supports all GPS receivers with NMEA-183-protocol
    • In the docks: PDA-option, Pro version and DKW2 builder for scanning and calibrating large charts
    • Secured against copying with product activation. WinGPS 4, the DKW1800-charts and the ANWB/VVV charts need to be activated in order to function properly
