Version 4.1.2.0 (07-06-2007)

Added support for AIS message 9. This message is send by airborne SAR aircrafts. AIS-messages 2 and 3 were ignored. This resulted in less AIS-objects in WinGPS 4 Pro as there could be. This has been fixed. The AIS-information window did not show all available data. This has been fixed. When the GPS device was connected to a Garmin USB-port, the NMEA-monitor did not show any port. This has been fixed. The help-file was not available when the language was set to a different language than English or Dutch. Now the English help-file will be shown.

Added data-age information to the AIS window. Now you can see when the last AIS-message for a specific AIS-object was received. It also shows it's age. Fixed some upload and download issues with MLR (mainly for the MLR FX312) and Valsat devices. The user interface has changed at some points.

Waypoint proximity alarm added. When the GPS position is inside the proximity-range of one or more proximity waypoints, an audible alarm is started. A window will show the proximity waypoints the alarm applies to. The alarm can be suppressed by clicking a checkbox in this window. Added the option to filter out AIS messages of your own ship. When a separate AIS transmiter and receiver are used, the receiver receives AIS messages from the transmitter. These messages result in an AIS object being placed right at the GPS position. Now this can be filtered out by entering your own MMSI number in the ship settings window and selecting the filter option in the AIS receiver device in the instrument manager. Added the option to change the display color of each track. The color can be selected in the track manager by clicking the color-box. Added the option to select the default track color for newly created tracks. This option has been added to the new Track Settings window, accessible through the Tracks / Settings menu. Added the option to start and stop the current track during communication. In the Tracks menu the option 'Start tracking / Stop tracking' was added, in the toolbar a button was added and the option is accessible by the Shift-F3 keyboard shortcut. This option is available when the Automatic tracking option is disabled. Added the option to enable or disable the automatic tracking to the new Track Settings window (accessible through the Track / Settings menu). When this option is enabled (by default), the tracking of the GPS positions in a track is switched on when the communication is started. When this option is disabled, the tracking of GPS positions is not started when the communication is started. The option to start or stop tracking manually is disabled when automatic tracking is on. Added the Mark position (Ctrl+M) function to the toolbar. Offline activation of the program license and chartlicenses through the application did not work. This has been fixed. In some cases zooming with the mousewheel did not work. This has been fixed. Getting the GPS position through the Garmin protocol did not always work. This has been fixed. Closing the communication with the GPS protocol set to Garmin could result in a crash. This has been fixed. Some COM-ports were not found, mainly virtual ports and some Bluetooth ports. This has been fixed. AIS messages 18, 19 and 21 were not decoded correctly. This resulted in position errors for Class B ships and some other ship properties to be incorrect. This has been fixed. The distances between routepoints that can optionally be shown when a route is edited, did not respect the distance unit settings. This has been fixed. Sometimes a port was shown more than once in the instrument manager. This has been fixed. The repeater, log and autopilot did not always work. This has been fixed. When importing a database file that was not a correct database file, the program crashed. This has been fixed. When no GPS settings are present in the registry (after the first install, when the instrument manager was not selected), selecting the options GPS/Upload or GPS/Download caused the program to crash. This has been fixed. Downloading more than one route from a Magellan GPS resulted in a time-out. This has been fixed. The progress indicator in the upload window did not show the correct route count and routepoint count. This has been fixed. The depth viewer was only updated when the Sounder reported a depth-change. This has been fixed. ANWB Jachthavenvoorzieningen waypointgroups were always hidden during start-up. This has been fixed. In some cases some charts were not drawn at all. Moving the chart with the mouse resulted in a flickering view. This has been fixed. The nightscreen instensity was not preserved when it was changed by pressing the F11 and F12 keys (or it's corresponding menu options). This has been fixed. The initial value of the screen refresh interval in the Common View settings was shown as 0.0. This has been fixed. After printing, the application window moved to the background. This has been fixed. The 'Show tracknames' settings was not stored. This has been fixed. The trackmanager window now stores the current sort column and direction. On Windows 98 and ME the NMEA monitor showed COM-port names like 'COM1 - COM1'. This has changed to 'COM1'. Some minor user interface changes were applied. The filenames of exported tracks are named after the trackname and not after the original filename.

AIS-message 18 was not processed correctly. This message is sent by Class B AIS-transponders. The position, COG, SOG, etc. of these types of ships was not decoded correctly. This has been fixed. The dimensions of a AIS Class B ship and it's relative GPS position were not decoded correctly. The dimensions of a ship and the relative GPS position of an AIS Class B ship is transmitted by AIS message 19. This has been fixed. From AIS message 21 (sent by Aids-to-navigation objects) the type of electronic position fixing device was not read. This has been fixed.

Version 4.0.13.0 (30-03-2007)

Compatibility issues with Windows Vista have been addressed. On Windows 98 and ME, the enumeration of installed COM ports could fail, causing the program to crash during start-up. This has been fixed.

Communication with a Garmin GPS set to the NMEA protocl did not work. This has been fixed. Added support for AIS class B messages 24A and 24B.

Version 4.0.8.3 (22-12-2006)

Added a screen refresh section to the general screen properties window. Here you can set the screen refresh interval between 0.1 and 10 seconds. The lower this value, the more frequent the screen will be updated. Higher values help reducing the power consumption. The simulator now uses a rudderangle to steer instead of a COG setting. This makes it easier to steer a constant angle. When no route is active, the automatic route option is disabled. When a different route is selected, the automatic route option is switched off. Added a model option to the GPS settings. This settings is needed for some GPS devices for up and downloading data. For normal communication it is possible to set the model to Unspecified. Now you can only select the Garmin protocol when the GPS brand is set to Garmin. The vector diagram has been improved. A Wake and Stream setting have been added to the Navigation Info window. Refer to the helpfile for information. When a distance calculation point was attached to the GPS cursor, it was impossible to detache it. This has been fixed. The Marina Facilities icons are scaled and become smaller when the chart is zoomed out. The user interface has changed at some places.

When all waypointgroups were meade invisible in the waypoint group manager, the 'Ungrouped' group would become visible the next time WinGPS was started. This has been fixed. When the current route was edited, the bearing line to the current routepoint was not drawn. This has been fixed. Some windows were not updated when a different language was selected. This has been fixed Renamed the option 'Set GPS plot position' to 'Set GPS tracking position'. This reflects it's purpose better. The option 'Set GPS tracking position' is now only available when it's function is applicable. The GPS filtering has been improved. The name-tag at the end of a track has been removed. Now a name-tag will only be drawn at the beginning of a track. The fontsize of routepoints was increased. In the route editor, all routepoints are collapsed by default. The bearingline option now shows a line.from the GPS cursor to the mousecursor. The name-tag of the current track will now also be drawn. The option 'Anchor guard' is renamed to 'Anchor watch'. Some texts in the viewer's properties window were not translated into Ducth.

Beta release. New option added: GPS filtering. In the GPS settings window, filtering of 2D fix, position spikes, position and COG and SOG can be selected. New option added: Draw bearing angle and and distance of GPS-cursor to mouse-cursor. This information will move with the mouse-cursor and can be switched on or off in the properties window of the chartwindow. New option added: Mark position. In the waypoints menu of the main menu the option 'Mark position' has been added. With this function a waypoint is generated at the curent GPS position. The waypoint type, group and prefix can be selected in the option 'Mark properties', also in the waypoints menu. A progress indicator is now shown when data is uploaded tot a GPS. Fixed some flickering issues in the Route Info and Navigation Info windows. Some values in the Route Info and Navigation Info windows were not set to the correct value initially. This has been fixed. The application did not respect the locale settings of Windows to display some values in several places. This has been fixed. Some values in the application did not use the units for large and small distances correclty. This has been fixed. The Route Manager did not allow the current route to be deleted. This has been fixed. The XTE alarm would still be active, even when te communication was closed. This has been fixed. The 'Print' button in the route overview window was not properly alligned. This has been fixed. Clicking twice on 'proximity waypoint' in the waypoint editor, could cause the proximity value to reset 100m. This has been fixed. The length and width values of an AIS object were not correct. This has been fixed. The option 'Stop current route' from the Routes menu, was never enabled. This has been fixed. When the last routepoint of the current route was deleted, an acces violoation was shown. This has been fixed. When the option 'navigate to waypoint' was chosen, the option 'edit current route' was enabled, which should not be so. This has been fixed. When the waypoint prefix in the waypoint editor was empty, an access violation waould pop-up at the next restart of the application. This has been fixed. The AIS CPA and TCPA values are now drawn right after the name. When waypoints and routes are renumbered, an existing trailing number in the number will be preserverd if possible. The position format in the routepoint editor and the waypoint editor are now the same for both latitude and longitude. The chosen setting will now be stored in the registry. The menu item 'Select route point' from the char window's pop-up menu is renamed to 'Navigate to routepoint'. The menu item 'Stop current route' for the chart window's pop-up menu can now always be selected when there is a current route. In previous versions of the application, you had to right-click on the current route before the menu item was enabled. The menu item 'Set GPS center position' from the chart window's pop-up menu has been renamed to 'Set GPS plot position'. When the chart window's pop-up menu item 'Find GPS position' is chosen, the GPS position will be plotted at the position that was selected by the 'Set GPS plot position' option. The option 'Set GPS plot position' is now always enabled. The route- and routepoint editors now use the same format to edit and display the radius.

Version 4.0.6.2 (01-09-2006)

Added concept translations for the German, French, Danish and Swedish language. The translations aren't complete yet so there might still be errors and English text in the program. After updating the charts with the menu option 'charts/update charts' the program crashed when selecting a chart collection. This has been fixed.

The satellite status in the position window was flickering and was wrong-coloured on some systems. This has been fixed. Ennhanced support for Garmin GPS devices (also usb). Added support for tracks without time-information. After activating charts by the menu option 'charts/activate charts', the program had to be restarted before the charts were displayed in full color. This has been fixed. When the waypoint database could not be loaded, the program would show an error and stopped during start-up. This has been fixed. The program would stop and an error was shown when a marina facilites file could not be loaded. This has been fixed. The program now detects that a marina facilities installation was moved to another folder. The scalebar now shows the distance according to the small and large distance unit settings. The navigation info and route info windows now uses the correct units for small and large distances. When the marina facilities window was visible but empty, the proram would crash when the user switched to nightscreen mode. This has been fixed When a backup was restored, the waypoint database was not restored. This has been fixed The MWV setting in the autopilot window was not shown correctly. This has been fixed

Version 4.0.5.0 (01-08-2006)

Lots of changes and fixes made to the Garmin protocol implementation. When a GPS was connected to a Garmin USB port, the port settings were not stored causing the port to disappear from the instrument manager. This has been fixed. The color of the HDG value in the navigation info window has changed to the color of the speed, because they represent the same vector. Added three messages to the autopilot: MWV, RMC, VTG. The XTE value has now the correct sign in the APB, RMB and XTE messages. The 3-point calibration for rotated charts has been inproved for more accuracy.

The last trackpoint of a stored track was not read. This has been fixed Tracks with a duration of less than one second resulted in an error when these tracks were drawn. This has been fixed. When the program was navigating to a waypoint the program uses a temporary route. This route could be deleted what resulted in an error. This has been fixed. When the communication was active, the editboxes in the depth viewer were very hard to operate. This has been fixed. When a GPS only sends position messages without a timestamp, no track was recorded. A drop-down button was added next to the route and routepiont selection boxes. An AIS CPA circle has been added around the ship. Green means safe, red means danger. Downloading waypoints and routes form a Furuno GPS has been added (still experimental!). Up- and downloading to an from a Garmin GPS has been improved (still experimental!)

Tracks could sometimes be drawn at the wrong location. This has been fixed. The AIS CPA value was miscalculated. This has been fixed. When the vessel is at collision course with an AIS vessel, the CPA and TCPA values are shown near the AIS vessel. An experimental implementation of GPS up- and downloading has been added. This works only with the GPS set to the Garmin protocol.

When a scrollbar was present in the AIS info window, and the scrollbar was scrolled down, the thumb (and view) would jump back to the top when the window was updated. The layout of the AIS info window has changed. In some cases an "Access Violation" could pop up when the chart was moved by the mouse or by the tracking function. An "Access Violation" could pop up when data was imported by the import function.

In some cases a "Floating point divide by zero" error could pop up during drawing of the current track. In some cases a "Floating point divide by zero" error could pop up after a track was selected in the trackmanager. When a repeater or autopilot was attached to a non-existing port, a "CException" error could pop up after the communication was opened. In some cases there appeared small holes between parts of a chart.

The program failed to start under Windows ME. Deleting the last point of a route, caused an error. Moving a routepoint by the route-point edit window, caused an error on routepoints that were attached to a waypoint. The route-info window showed values of the previous seleced route instead of the current. Starting the program no longer results in an error when the program is closed after the last routepoint has been reached but the route is not stopped by the user. DOG will be reset when the route is reversed during simulation. Relative wind is now corrected for heading. Improved errorhandling of the communication. Improved error handling of the application. The program generates better errorreports. When the GPS was set to the Garmin type, an Access Violation error was raised when the communication was opened. Improved start-up performance. Changing the selection of charts (or switching between chart collections) is much faster. The XTE width is added to the route-info window. The ETA is added to the route-info window.

Proximity waypoint alarm toegevoegd. Wanneer de gps-positie zich binnen het bereik van een of meer proximity waypoints bevindt, wordt er een alarm ten gehore gebracht. In een venster worden de proximity waypoints getoond waarop het alarm van toepassing is. Het alarm kan worden onderdrukt door in dit venster op een checkbox te klikken. De optie om AIS-berichten van het eigen schip uit te filteren is toegevoegd. Wanneer er een aparte AIS-zender en -ontvanger worden gebruikt, ontvangt de ontvanger AIS-berichten van de zender. Hierdoor wordt er een AIS-object getoond op de plaats van de gps-positie. Dit kan nu worden uitgefilterd door in het schipinstellingenscherm het eigen MMSI-nummer in te vullen en de filter-optie te selecteren in het AIS-ontvanger apparaat in het instrumentenbeheer. De optie om trajecten van een kleur te voorzien is toegevoegd. De kleur kan per traject worden geselecteerd in het trajectenbeheer door op het kleurvakje te klikken. De optie om de standaard trajectkleur voor nieuwe trajecten in te stellen is toegevoegd. Deze optie is toegevoegd aan het nieuwe Trajectinstellingenvenster, wat te bereiken is via het menu Traject / Instellingen. De optie om het bijhouden van het traject te starten en te stoppen is toegevoegd. In het Trajectenmenu is de optie 'Start bijhouden traject / Stop bijhouden traject' toegevoegd, in de knoppenbalk is een knop toegevoegd en de optie is toegankelijk via de Shift-F3 sneltoets. Deze optie is beschikbaar wanneer Automatisch bijhouden van traject uitgeschakeld staat. De optie om automatisch of handmatig het traject bij te houden is toegevoegd aan het nieuwe Trajectinstellingenvenster (bereikbaar via het menu Trajecten / Instellingen). Wanneer deze optie actief is wordt automatisch het bijhouden van het traject gestart wanneer de communicatie geopend wordt. Wanneer deze optie niet actief is wordt er geen traject bijgehouden wanneer de communicatie geopend wordt. De optie om het bijghouden van trajecten te starten of te stoppen is niet beschikbaar wanneer automatisch bijhouden van traject is ingechakeld. De Markeer positie (Ctrl+M) functie is aan de knoppenbalk toegevoegd. Het offline activeren van de programmalicentie en kaartlicenties vanuit het programma werkte niet. Dit is opgelost. In sommige gevallen werkte het zoomen met het muiswiel niet. Dit is opgelost. Het verkrijgen van de gps-positie d.m.v. het Garmin-protocol werkte niet altijd. Dit is opgelost. Het sluiten van de communicatie terwijl het gps-protocol was ingesteld op Garmin, kon een crash veroorzaken. Dit is opgelost. Sommige COM-poorten werden niet gevonden, voornamelijk virtuele poorten en sommige Bluetooth poorten. Dit is opgelost. AIS-berichten 18, 19 en 21 werden niet correct gedecodeerd. Hierdoor traden er positiefouten op bij Class B schepen en werden sommige andere gegevens incorrect weergegeven. Dit is opgelost. De afstanden tussen routepunten die optioneel getoond kunnen worden wanneer een route bewerkt wordt, respecteerden niet de afstandseenheid-instelling. Dit is opgelost. Soms werd een poort meer dan eens in het instrumentenbeheer getoond. Dit is opgelost. De repeater, het log en de stuurautomaat werkten niet altijd. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer er een databasebestand werd geïmporteerd wat niet een correct databasebestand was, crashte het programma. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer er geen gps-instellingen in het register aanwezig zijn (na de eerste keer installeren, zonder dat het instrumentenbeheer is geopend), crashte het programma bij het kiezen van de opties GPS/Uploaden en GPS/Downloaden. Dit is opgelost. Het downloaden van meer dan een route van een Magellan-gps zorgde voor een time-out. Dit is opgelost. De voortgangsindicator in het uploadscherm toonde onjuiste aantallen bij routes en routepunten. Dit is opgelost. Het dieptescherm werd alleen bijgewerkt wanneer het diepte-instrument een verandering aangaf. Dit is opgelost. ANWB Jachthavenvoorzieningen waypointgroepen werden bij het opstarten altijd verborgen. Dit is opgelost. In sommige gevallen werden sommige kaarten niet getekend. Het verschuiven van de kaart zorgde dan voor een knipper-effect. Dit is opgelost. De nachtscherm-intensiteit werd niet behouden wanneer het werd aangepast met de F11 en F12 toetsen (of de corresponderende menu opties). Dit is opgelost. De initiële waarde van het schermverversingsinterval in de Algemene Beeldinstellingen werd altijd als 0.0 weergegeven. Dit is opgelost. Na het printen werd het programmavenster naar de achtergrond verplaatst. Dit is opgelost. De 'Toon trajectnamen' instelling werd niet bewaard. Dit is opgelost. Het trajectbeheerscherm slaat nu de sorteerkolom en -richting op. Op Windows 98 en ME toonde de NMEA monitor COM-poortnamen als 'COM1 - COM1'. Dit is veranderd in 'COM1'. De user interface is op bepaalde punten verbeterd. De bestandsnamen van geëxporteerde trajecten worden nu bepaald door de trajectnaam en niet door de originele bestandsnaam.

AIS-bericht 18 werd niet correct verwerkt. Dit bericht wordt verstuurd door Klasse B AIS-transponders. De positie, COG, SOG, enz. van dit type schepen werd niet correct gedecodeerd. Dit is opgelost. De afmetingen van een AIS Klasse B-schip en de relatieve GPS-positie werden niet correct gedecodeerd. De afmetingen van een schip en de relatieve GPS-positie van een AIS Klasse B schip wordt verzonden in bericht 19. Dit is opgelost. Uit AIS-bericht 21 (verzonden door Aids-to-navigation objecten) werd het type van het plaatsbepalingsapparaat niet uitgelezen. Dit is opgelost.

Versie 4.0.13.0 (30-03-2007)

Compatibiliteitsproblemen met Windows Vista zijn opgelost. Op Windows 98 en ME kon het opzoeken van geïnstalleerde COM poorten fout gaan waardoor het programma tijdens het starten kon crashen. Dit is opgelost.

Er is een schermververs sectie toegevoegd aan het algemene beeldinstellingenscherm. Hier kan het beelververs interval worden ingesteld tussen 0,1 en 10 seconden. Hoe lager deze waarde, hoe vaker het scherm ververst wordt. Hogere waarden helpen het energieverbuik te beperken. De simulator gebruikt nu een roerhoek om te sturen i.p.v. een COG instelling. Dit maakt het sturen van een constante hoek gemakkelijker. Wanneer er geen route actief is, is de automatische route optie niet meer beschikbaar. Wanneer er een andere route geselecteerd wordt, wordt de automatische route optie uitgezet. Er is een model keuze toegevoegd aan de GPS instellingen. Deze instelling is nodig voor het up- en downloaden bij sommige GPS apparaten. Voor normale communicatie kan voor 'Niet gespecificeerd' gekozen worden. Er kan nu alleen voor het Garmin protocol gekozen worden wanneer het GPS merk op Garmin staat ingesteld. Het vectordiagram is verbeterd. Er zijn opties voor Wake en Stream toegevoegd aan het Navigatie Info scherm. Zie de helpfile voor meer informatie. Wanneer er een afstandsmetingpunt aan de GPS cursor was gekoppeld, kon deze niet met los gekoppeld worden. Dit is opgelost. De Jachthavenvoorzieningen iconen worden nu geschaald wanneer het kaartbeeld wordt uitgezoomd. De gebuikers interface is op een aantal plaatsen aangepast.

Wanneer alle waypointgropen onzichtbaar waren gemaakt on het waypointgroepenbeheer, werd bij de volgende.start van WinGPS de groep 'Ongegroepeerd' aangezet. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer de huidige route bewerkt werd, werd de koerslijn naar het huidige routepunt niet getekend. Dit is opgelost. Sommige schermen werden niet bijgewerkt wanneer er een andere taal werd geselecteed. Dit is opgelost. De optie 'Zet GPS-plotpositie' is gewijzigd in 'Zet GPS-volgpositie'. Dit geeft zijn functie beter weer. De optie 'Zet GPS-volgpositie' is nu alleen beschikbaar wanneer deze nut heeft. De GPS-filtering is verbeterd. Het naam-label aan het einde van een traject is verwijderd. Er wordt nu alleen aan het begin van een traject een naam-label getekend. De grootte van de letters van routepunten is vergroot. In de route editor zijn de routepunten standaard ingeklapt. De pijllijn optie toont nu een lijn van de GPS cursor naar de muiscursor. Het naam-label van het huidige traject wordt nu ook getekend. De optie 'Anchor guard' is hernoemd naar 'Acnhor watch' (alleen engelse versie is aangepast). Sommige teksten in het kaartvenster eigenschappenscherm waren nog niet naar het Nederlands vertaald.

Versie 4.0.7.0 (06-10-2006)

Beta release. Nieuwe optie toegevoegd: GPS filtering. In het GPS instellingen scherm kan worden gekozen voor het filteren van 2D fix, positie pieken, positie en COG en SOG. Nieuwe optie toegevoegd: Het tekenen van de peilingshoek en afstand van de GPS positie tot de muis positie. Deze informatie beweegt met de muis mee en is aan en uit te schakelen via het eigenschappenscherm van het kaartvenster. Nieuwe optie toegevoegd: Markeer positie. In het waypoints menu van het hoofdmenu is de optie 'Markeer positie' toegevoegd. Met deze optie wordt een waypoint geplaatst op de huidige GPS positie. Het type, de groep en het voorvoegsel kunnen worden gekozen in de optie 'Markeer eigenschappen', ook in het waypoints menu. Er wordt nu een voortgangs indicator getoond wanneer er gegevens naar de GPS worden ge-upload. Er zijn een aantal knipper-problemen opgelost in de Route Info- en Navigatie Info-schermen. Sommige waarden in de Route Info- em Navigatie-Info schermen werden initiëel niet op de juiste waarde gezet. Dit is opgelost. Het programma hield op verschillende plaatsen geen rekening met de regionale instellingen van Windows om waarden te tonen. Dit is opgelost. Sommige waarden in het programma gebruikten de eenheden voor grote en kleine afstanden niet goed. Dit is opgelost. In het Routebeheer was het niet mogelijk de huidige route te verwijderen. Dit is opgelost. Het XTE alarm bleef actief wanneer de communicatie werd uitgeschakeld. Dit is opgelost. De 'Afdrukken' knop in het route overzichtscherm was niet goed uitgelijnd. Dit is opgelost. Als er 2x op 'proximity waypoint' in de waypoint editor werd geklikt, werd de proximity waarde naar 100m teruggezet. Dit is opgelost. De lengte- en breedtewaarden van een AIS object waren niet correct. Dit is opgelost. De optie 'Stop huidige route' in het Routes menu was nooit actief. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer het laatste routepunt van de huidige route werd verwijderd, trad er een access violation op. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer de optie 'navigeer naar waypoint' was gekozen werd de optie 'bewerk huidige route' aangezet, wat niet zo zou moeten zijn. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer het waypoint voorvoegsel in de waypoint editor leeg was, trad er een access violation op bij de volgende herstrart van het programma. Dit is opgelost. De AIS CPA en TCPA waarden worden nu direct achter de naam getekend. Het nummeren bij het automatisch hernoemen van waypoints en routepunten houdt nu rekening met een eventueel al aanwezig nummer aan het eind van de naam. Het positie-formaat in de routepunt- en waypoint-editor is nu gelijk voor zowel lengte- als breedtegraad. De gekozen instelling wordt nu het register bewaard. Het menu item 'Selecteer routepunt' in het pop-up menu van het kaartvenster is hernoemd naar 'Navigeer naar routepunt'. Het menu item 'Stop huidige route' in het pop-up menu van het kaartvernster kan nu altijd gekozen worden, zolang er een huidige route is. In vorige versies van het programma moest je rechts-klikken op de huidige route voordat deze optie beschikbaar was. Het menu item 'Zet GPS centreerpositie' in het pop-up menu van het kaartvernster is hernoemd naar 'Zet GPS plotpositie'. Wanneer in het kaartvenster pop-up menu voor 'Zoek GPS positie' word gekozen, dan wordt de GPS positie getoond op de positie die is gekozen met de optie 'Zet GPS plotpositie'. De optie 'Zet GPS plotpositie' is nu altijd beschikbaar. De route- en routepunt editor gebruiken nu het zelfde formaat om de radius te bewerken en te tonen.

Versie 4.0.6.2 (01-09-2006)

Concept vertalingen toegevoegd voor de Duitse, Franse, Deense en Zweedse taal. De vertaling zijn not niet compleet dus er kunnen nog fouten en engelse teksten in het programma aanwezig zijn. Na het bijwerken van de kaarten via het menu 'kaarten/kaarten bijwerken' liep het programma vast door het selecteren van een kaartcollectie. Dit is opgelost.

Versie 4.0.6.0 (31-08-2006)

De satellietstatus in het positiescherm knipperde en was verkeerd gekleurd op sommige systemen. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer het programma werd afgesloten nadat een update werd gestart, verscheen er een foutmelding. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer er op een jachthavenvoorziening-icoon werd geklikt liep het programma vast. Dit is opgelost. Verbeterde ondersteuning voor Garmin gps apparaten (ook usb). Ondersteuning voor trajecten zonder tijdinformatie toegevoegd. Na het activeren van kaarten via het menu 'kaarten/activeer kaarten' moest het programma opnieuw opgestart worden voordat de kaarten volledig in kleur werden getoond. Dit is verholpen. Wanneer de waypoint database niet kon worden geladen, liet het programma een foutmelding zien en stopte het tijdens het starten. Dit is verholpen. Het programma stopte en er werd een foutmedling getoond wanneer een jachthavenvoorzieningen bestand niet geladen kon worden. Dit is verholpen. Het programma detecteert nu wanneer een jachthavenvoorzieningen installatie is verplaatst naar een andere map. De schaalbalk toont nu de afstand in de eenheden zoals deze zijn ingesteld voor kleine en grote afstanden. De navigatie-info en route-info schermen tonen nu de juiste eenheden bij kleine en grote afstanden. Wanneer het jachthavenvoorzieningen scherm zichtbaar maar leeg was, crashte het programma wanneer naar het nachtbeeld werd overgeschakeld. Dit is opgelost. Tijdens het terugzetten van een backup, werd de database niet teruggezet. Dit is opgelost. De MVW instelling in het stuurautomaat scherm werd niet goed weergegeven. Dit is opgelost.

Versie 4.0.5.0 (01-08-2006)

Veel veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht in de implemetatie van het Garmin protocol. Wanneer een GPS met een Garmin USB poort was vebonden werden de poortinstellingen niet opgeslagen waardoor de poort verdween uit het instrumentenbeheer. Dit is opgelost. De kleur van de HDG waarde in het navigatie info scherm is gelijk gemaakt aan die van de snelheid, omdat deze dezelfde vector voorstellen. Er zijn 3 berichten toegevoegd aan de autopilot: MWV, RMC, VTG. De XTE waarde heeft nu het juiste teken in de APB, RMB en XTE berichten. De 3-punts calibratie voor geroteerde kaarten is verbeterd voor verhoogde nauwkeurigheid.

Het laatste trajectpunt van een opgeslagen traject werd niet ingelezen. Dit is opgelost. Trajecten met een lengte van minder dan een seconde, resulteerden in een foutmeling wanneer deze trajecten getekend werden. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer het programma naar een waypoint navigeert gebruikt het programma een tijdelijke route. Deze kon worden verwijderd wat in een foutmelding resulteerde. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer de communicatie actief was, konden de waarden in het dieptescherm zeer moeilijk aangepast worden. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer een GPS alleen positieberichten zonder tijd verstuurde, werd er geen traject bijgehouden. Er zijn knoppen toegevoegd naast de route en routepunt selectie vakjes. Er is een AIS CPA cirkel toegevoegd aan de boot. Groen betekent veilig, rood betekent gevaar. Het downloaden van waypoints en routes van een Furuno GPS is toegeveoegd (nog steeds experimenteel!). Het up- en downloaden naar en van een Garmin GPS is verbeterd (nog steeds experimenteel!)

Soms werden trajecten op de verkeerde plaats getekend. Dit is opgelost. De AIS CPA waarde werd verkeerd berekend. Dit is opgelost. Wanneer het schip op ramkoers ligt met een AIS schip, worden de CPA en TCPA waarden getoond bij het AIS schip. Er is een experimentele implementatie van het GPS up- en downloaden toegevoegd. Dit werkt alleen met een GPS die op het Garmin protocol is ingesteld.

Wanneer er in het AIS info scherm een scrollbar aanwezig was en deze naar beneden gescrolled werd, sprong deze (en de inhoud van het scherm) weer naar boven wanneer het scherm geupdate werd. De indeling van het AIS info scherm is gewijzigd. In sommige gevallen kon er een "Access Violation" optreden wanneer de kaart werd verplaatst met de muis of via de tracking functie. Bij het importen van waypoints e.d. kon er een "Access Violoation" optreden.

Soms trad er een "Floating point divide by zero" fout op tijdens het tekenen van het huidige traject. Soms trad er een "Floating point divide by zero" fout op nadat er een traject was geselecteerd in het tracjectenbeheer. Wanneer een repeater of stuurautomaat was gekoppeld aan een niet bestaande poort, trad er een "CException" fout op nadat de communicatie was geopend. In sommige gevallen konden er kleine spleetjes ontstaan tussen kaartdelen.

Het popgramma weigerde te starten onder Windows ME. Het verwijderen van het laatste punt van een route gaf een foutmelding. Wanneer een routepunt, die aan een waypoint gekoppeld was, werd verplaatst via het routepunt edit scherm, trad er een fout op. Het route info scherm liet waarden van een vorig geselecteerde route zien. Opstarten geeft geen fout meer als het programma is afgesloten met een volledig uitgevaren route die niet door de gebruiker gestopt is. DOG wordt gereset als de route tijdens simulatie automatisch wordt omgekeerd. Relatieve wind wordt nu gecorrigeerd voor heading. Foutafhandeling van de communicatie is verbeterd. Verbeterde fout-afhandeling van het programma. Er worden nu betere foutrapporten gegenereerd. Wanneer de GPS op het Gramin type was ingesteld, trad er een Access Violation op wanneer de communiatie geopend werd. Verhoogde opstart snelheid. Het wijzigen van de kaartselectie (of het wisselen tussen kaartcollecties) is veel sneller. De XTE breedte is toegevoegd aan het route-informatiescherm. De ETA is toegevoegd aan het route-informatiescherm.
