Open house Stentec Utrecht 27 and 28 September !

Dear reader of the Stentec newsletter,

For all who are interested in celebrating Stentec's 25-years anniversary we organize an Open House party in Utrecht. You are welcome Saturday the 27 and Sunday the 28 of September, from 10 to 16h in our new shop at the Veilinghavenkade 171 in Utrecht. Easy to find. Simply follow the signs Jaarbeurs (P3). In our shop we can show you the latest developments regarding "Navigation laptop on board" and "Sail Simulator 5". Outside, near the Veilinghaven, there is a party tent with snacks and drink. We hope the weather will be good.

Some historical facts:

• On February 1, 1983 Stentec was founded and subscribed at the Chamber of Commerce in Utrecht. Now 25 years later we did come back to our roots. Stentec Projects will run B2B projects from our Utrecht office using the latest simulation, navigation and 3D-technology.
• The name Stentec is an abbreviation of Stromings Energie Technologie (fluid dynamic technology). After 20 years of developing wind turbines this still is our speciality.
• Simulation software for 15 year. About 100.000 simulators have been sold world wide. January 2007 we started the development of a new Sail Simulator 5 Multiplayer version for very realistic regatta sailing.
• WinGPS for 10 years now. In 2000 we took over all the rights from Jos Verbeek. 5 Year ago we started the development of a new WinGPS 4 Navigator, soon the most popular navigation software on board in Holland. This year our WinGPS 4 Voyager won the Hiswa Innovation price 2008.
