Stentec shop in Utrecht now officially opened and other news.

New navigation technology for on board
Have a look at the navigation setup in our shop in Utrecht. It contains new technology for WinGPS navigation on board of your ship. A touch screen Planar LX1200TI monitor is connected to the new ASUS EEE Box with low power but fast ATOM processor. Without keyboard and mouse you can pan the chart and control WinGPS with your fingertip. The 6 key buttons on the monitor can be coupled to short cuts in WinGPS. The maintenance free AIRMAR weather sensor with build in GPS and giro compass is provided with a rugged ultrasonic wind sensor. Ideal for WinGPS 4 Voyager and Pro. The new Airmar sensors are now offered against special introduction prices.

Opening hours Stentec Shops in Heeg and Utrecht
Outside the sailing season we changed the opening hours of both of our shops. From October 1 our shop in Utrecht is closed on Monday and Tuesday evening. On Saturday both shops are open. For your visit always have a look at the actual opening hours on our site.

Stentec VOR in Sail Simulator 5 !
At the official opening of our new shop in Utrecht Hans Bouscholte presented the Stentec Volvo Open 70 boat for the coming Sail Simulator 5 Multiplayer version. How to sail this super fast boat and control the 6 ton canting keel and dagger boards can be tried out your self during online races in Sail Simulator 5. The Volvo Ocean Race 2008-2009 starts today with the Alicante In-Port-Race. The race is heavier then ever with a 12.000Nm passage.
