Stentec's DKW Builder can be used to create a DKW2 Chart set (*.CHV file) for all WinGPS 4-navigation software using Google Earth. If you are interested, follow the sample below. If you do not own DKW Builder or WinGPS 4 (Pro) start downloading DKW Builder Lite, DKW Manager and WinGPS 4 (Mobile) Lite from our GPS-freeware page.

• Download and install Google Earth (beta)
• Zoom-in on your location and set the view directed to the North.
• Add Placemarks with a small icon and font. Use the coordinates in DMS as the Placemark name using copy/paste.
• Make overlapping screenshots for Paint with Placemarks with coordinates in opposite corners.
• Use DKW Builder (Lite) to create a DKW2 chart set (CHV-file) from the screenshots.
• Start DKW Manager to install the chart set for your WinGPS4-series program.
