Team Stentec wishes you a clear horizon on your voyage through 2008
Our expectations for 2009 are high. We are preparing a second maritime software shop in Utrecht. If all goes well we will be open just before the new sailing season. In 2008 we will also celebrate the fact that Stentec was founded 25 year ago.

On the coming Boot Holland and Hiswa boat shows we will introduce our new WinGPS 4 Pro Interactive specially made for regatta sailing and longer sailing trips. Grib file and stream data support of the Dutch Waddensea allows easy interactive route planning.

An other exciting milestone in 2008 will be the release of our new Sail Simulator 5. This version uses the latest 3D and improved physical modelling for stable multiplayers sessions all around the world. Although a lot have to be developed, the first screenshots can be found on www.sailsimulator.com (see fig).

A few suggestions for the Christmas holiday !

• Learn sailing on your PC using Sail Simulator. A sailing course for beginners in included. Also organizing a race is possible.
• Download additional sailing areas for Motorboat Simulator from www.sailsimulator.com
• Prepare yourself for 2008 sailing season with the affordable downloads of our new WinGPS 4-series programs and digital charts. The free 2008 upgrade for the Dutch DKW1800-series allows updating until March 2009.
• Create Google Earth chart sets using DKW Builder or DKW Builder Lite. Read more in the WinGPS 4 (Pro) manual on our GPS-freeware page.
