Stentec Team ready for 2007
We will enter the year 2007 with a more powerful team. New in our growing company: Ferdinand Hoekstra for sales, marketing, dealer contacts and the organization of boat shows and workshops; Bernard Kamperman for helpdesk/system management and Jeroen Schlaman for software development. We are happy to restart the development of Sail Simulator 5 in January. For 2007 also new options have been planned to optimize WinGPS 4 Pro for motorboating and sailing. A new technology for the updating of digital charts will first be introduced for our DKW1800-series (Dutch sailing areas).

End of the year release WinGPS 4 Pro
A new WinGPS 4 Pro version will be released today. Navigation with a GPS (mouse) only has been simplified. The adjustable screen refresh rate can save power. Finally uploading to Magellan, MLR, Valsat and standard NMEA has been included. An improved vector diagram can show boat- and wind speed and also drift. Stream can be calculated and shown as vector if a GPS-receiver, a compass and a log are connected. Of course with full Auto Pilot and AIS-receiver support.

Receiving AIS-messages in our shop in Heeg !
After successful testing of AIS-reception a special AIS-antenna will be placed on the roof of our shop in Heeg. This allows demonstration and testing of WinGPS 4 Pro based AIS-systems in our shop. During tests AIS-targets did show up near Woudsend, Uitwellingerga, Harlingen and on the IJsselmeer.

• Download additional sailing areas for Motorboat Simulator from www.sailsimulator.com
• Prepare yourself for 2007 sailing season with the affordable downloads of our new WinGPS 4-series programs and digital charts. The free 2007 upgrade for the Dutch DKW1800-series allows updating until March 2008.
• Create Google Earth chart sets using DKW Builder.
