General question for Sail Simulator (raising sails, pulling sheets, etc.)

I have Sail Simulator 4.2 and I am wondering how to get it to work with windows Vista properly. I can load the game however I can not edit the boats or create my own designs. That part of the game does not work. Is there a way to get it to work properly?

Please use the fix on http://www.stentec.com/en/support/frequently-asked-questions/1-sail-simulator/2-kan-ik-sail-simulator-4-ook-met-windows-vista-gebruiken
This will solve your problem.
