Incomplete SS5 download version ?

Postby Nicopil@mi » Tue 30 Dec 2008 - 19:04

Hi everybody,
i've purchased SS5 pre-released a few days ago, and some details disturbed me on my computer :

-> are there no sceneries ? when in standalone mode, no way to find any scenery: water, water, water, but no coast...

-> no catamaran is present...

-> is there a french traduction available, because i don't use to use english sails names, and so i'm a bit lost for the moment when i try using another boat than the Laser one.

is it possible to download some fix from Stentec website for those problems ?

Anyway, the graphism and simulation of SS5 are really wonderful, i dream each time i start playing this game...

bye

Hello Nico,

Thanks for your purchase. There is actually nothing wrong with your download. This pre-release doesn't contain real sceneries yet. It only has a little treasure island. This island is located around Latitude and Longitude position 0, 0 (you can change this at the Scenery section in Single Player).
The next version (planned second quarter 2009) will include a full scenery.

This release only has four types of boats: Laser, Stentec Open 70, YD-40 and the Valk. No catamaran is available yet.

Currently we only has an English and Dutch version. We plan to translate everything to other languages.

Please be patient and enjoy using this version. Keep an eye on the website and this forum for updates!
