missing sails

I've a registered copy of 4.2.2 running on XP but I've got no sails!
The only vessel with visible sails is the default boat
Everything else I hav downloaded has everything but sails visible
I have tried editting colours with style editor and savng but still nothing visible

Hi. there is a 4.24 update you may be able to download.
Don't know if that would help?

Err - dont take me wrong - did you raise the sails?

Chris,

In the help file you can find the keyboard definition in the Simulation part. Here you will get to know how to raise the sails with the keyboard.
For raising the sails with your mouse search the help file for : Boat-> Controlling the Boat -> Sails.

Now you know what every function key on the keyboard does. After that use your mouse and right click (hold it) pull it. Now the sails should raise.

Just so. The first boat has the sails in place of course so I had not thought about halyards

i have an old version of sail simulator (SAIL SIM 4) is there anywhere i can download 4.2?

You can send our helpdesk (helpdesk at stentec.com) an e-mail containing your license number. When looking at your license number we know how to get the 4.2 version.

Perhaps I'm a bit off topic here? Sails and for that matter Rigging, are lenghy topics in their own right. I wonder could I tempt a response by mentioning Outerjib,Innerjib, Foresail, Mainsail, Mizzen, it goes on.
